Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.

21 pages in and there’s gendered language that slips into transphobia (saying only women have periods and that men only have testosterone), implying that medication stops your magical growth, and saying humans are not responsible for the acceleration of global warming…at that point you lose my ability to take anything you say seriously. There’s many other books to try but I won’t give this book another chance unless she changes it.
