Reading reviews, I can see both sides of the coin. For me, it falls somewhere in the middle. It was an enjoyable read for the most part, but I did struggle with parts. The beginning wasn't strong and it took me a bit to get in to the time travel. The story line was predictable, but I struggled with the ending. I am not neurodiverse, so I don't understand autism first hand and can't speak to that. I am disabled though and can understand that everyone has different experiences. I do appreciate that it was an Own Voice story. Though I struggled with some of the actions/choices of the main character, I did enjoy being in her world.
Graphic: Ableism, Panic attacks/disorders, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Bullying, Mental illness, Toxic relationship, Grief, Alcohol, and Sexual harassment
Minor: Cursing, Stalking, and Car accident
