Lillian Clarke is done being in love with the charming Lord Devon. She is too busy becoming the season's incomparable, so she can achieve her dream of helping other wallflowers find their confidence and purpose in society. But Lord Devon is always around. He is apprenticing with her father to achieve his own goal, inventing a new way to make coffee so he can buy his own coffee shop and live independent of his family's money. But will their goals change along with their emotions as they grow closer together? I really enjoyed this book, but I didn't find it as interesting as the first two in the Debutante Dares series. The characters are charming, but it doesn't quite read like an enemies-to-lovers story. Nevertheless, it is such a fun read, and I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series!
