tartt’s plots are obviously better suited for screen, in my opinion anyways. just imagining this as a tv show makes me giddy. this book just had so many unneeded scenes on page that would translate so well to film/tv. the plot is great and the allusions are superb but it was just difficult to get through; one because of the length but two because of the sheer girth of content.
