Growing up, I was a huge fan of Justice League animated series.
Not my favorite League Member, but Diana was always awesome. And I loved her chemistry with Batman in that series.
Now coming to this book, I entered this blind and did not know that Diana is only 17 in this book. Frankly, the character of Diana in this book is quite different that what I expected. I loved the new characters, Alia and Nim.
In fact it made me wonder. The most charming part about this book was the friendship between the three girls. Why don't more superhero stories do this? Some good wholesome friendship. It actually felt as if is a group of college mates having a genuinely good time, albeit while trying to save the world from an apocalypse.
