It's difficult to say how I feel about this book. The premise looked good, Greta's husband and daughter disappear on holiday and she has no idea what could've happened to them on that small island. I couldn't really warm to Greta at all.

However, things did not appear to be as they seemed and I began to wonder if Greta was delusional, we hear snippets of her childhood and become aware that she had been attending a psychologist. I ended up feeling quite dizzy and had no idea what was going on and was more or less just trying to get the book finished. But then towards the end the plot takes another twist and the story takes us down a different path so I did enjoy the later part of the book.

It's not quite a 3, I would more give this book 2.5 out of 5.
