I adored this. In many ways it was a fairly standard paranormal romance. But it had a lot of my favorite tropes (enemies to lovers, fake dating). The glimpses of the world we got were great. I would maybe have liked that to be a little bit more fleshed out. That felt sacrificed for character time though so I was okay with it mostly. The secondary characters are great and I assume are likely to be the future heroes and heroines of the upcoming books in the series. I can't wait for those by the way!
