My Brother's Lover by Lynn Kelling

4.0

What makes this book interesting are the complex relationships between the characters.

The twincest element is also interesting in how very different it is for each of the couples.

Evan and Brennan are identical twins who didn't know the other existed until recently. They are both hurt and grieving and alone. Although they have felt that part of themselves has been missing (for Evan this had traumatic repercussions), they have no history together, no 'brotherly' experience to base their new relationship on.

Alek and Luka are also twins who have had a tough upbringing which saw them spiral out of control. It is during these darkest days that their relationship changes. They feel a tremendous guilt that accompanies the love they have for each other.

This book is about sex but it also about love. The brother's loving each other but the couples - Evan & Alek and Brennan & Luka - sharing an obvious deep love too.

The main focus is on the two sets of twins but there are also a few other characters that make an appearance and really add to the story.
