This was not for me. It was SO boring, I am to blame though I mean I picked this up because of some random bookstagrammer posting a reel with an out-of-context quote; and I thought it would be amazing based on that one quote. Oh was I wrong, this was SO dull, it wasn’t my kind of book. I like more depth to characters in romance books, at the very least, I want them to be cute/sweet if they’re lacking in the personality department. There wasn’t a plot to this romance at all, like nothing. Also, plot holes… too many to count. And Tyler was pretty rude at times and mistreated Sera, I didn’t like him. The momentum/pacing felt off throughout the entire story too, it could have been cut way shorter in my opinion lots of this was filler/repetition. I’m disappointed to say this since I usually like sports romances and forced proximity, but I just wasn’t impressed with this one and I wish I could take back my wasted time 😅 I won’t give it a zero rating… because the cover was cute!
