Death, murder, blood

It’s been one year since Claire’s death in the maze on Halloween night and her sister, Alices’ life has fallen apart. Their parents are now divorced, Alice and her mom moved into an apartment, and Alice no longer talks to her former best friends and she’s being forced to go to court as she was the only witness to her sister’s murder.
On the first day of Claire’s murder trial Alice is in the washroom at the court house where she gets knocked out by a Sidney Prescott look-alike. Alice wakes up to find that it is exactly Halloween night the year previous and Claire is still alive and Alice has until midnight to solve Claires murder and find the real killer.

I powered through this to get it finished in time for Halloween night and I was not expecting that ending! I really enjoyed this read and the twists and turns. It’d make for a good duology. Though the main character irked me a bit lol I wasn’t able to keep up to speed with the movie aspect of the book as I’m not into movies/ t.v so I don’t know next to anything about the actors/actress.
