Someone Else's Shoes by Jojo Moyes

4.0

This is exactly what was needed. Need an easy comforting read this month- something to bury into as I clean out my Dad's house and put things in order. Jojo Moyes to the rescue!
I found this book while I was walking home from the mechanics after dropping off my car in a Free Little Library- and thought perfect. :) I have been finding her books everywhere lately and they have been piling up on my "to read" shelf-
This is the story of two women- one who is used to a life of luxury and one who is just "average". They mix up their bags at the gym- which leads to a smash up of a story. Nisha, the jetsetter- finds herself without a dime or a person and forced to figure things out in the real world. Sam finds herself with a ridiculous pair of heels that give her confidence- and a new look on life. They each have to figure out how to survive- and return the shoes. London, fancy hotel, Polish chef, asshole boss, asshole husband, plot to get out, red heels, Chanel jacket....and a 13 year old dog.

Read if you need a well written escape from whatever is happening in the real world.
