Oh Raven. It took me a while to warm up, then you had me in the last book, but you started to lose me with this one. Digging the political intrigue but there’s too many POVs. The sex scenes are such a wildly different tone than the rest of the book it kind of makes me cringe, and imho they’re pretty intense for a *very recent* trauma survivor (and supposedly extremely sheltered girl - where did she even learn to be so filthy?!). Fae possessiveness trope also feels kinda icky in this context.

I’m a sucker for a cadre though and love the side characters. Could have used way more Osrick and Rissa.
