This might be my favorite in the Carolina Comets series. Miller is such a wholesome guy, and I think everyone is too mean to him to be honest. I kept getting so mad when everyone gave him crap when his was being his genuine self and never! Miller was my favorite in this story. Scout was kind of boring and I felt the author could've gone a little deeper with their personalities as well as having their past effect them a little more. The way Miller was treated by his family should've had a little more influence on him as well as Scout's past. It seemed like the her father's death only effected her writing. Our pasts effect us in many ways and I thought it fell a little flat. Overall this was a wholesome story and I really enjoyed it!
