Big win for angels who slowly show humanity and characters that slowly realize they are things worth living for.

I beta read this story, and now read the arc (yippie!!), so it was interesting to see the story getting expanded more. And to see the cover art of course. The writing style is easy and welcoming, bringing over the main character's confusion about the entire situation well. The journey both Nate and Raz go on was quite interesting to read, and seeing how they slowly become used to each other and show more humanity was also well done. Sometimes I wish we had a bit more detail and more in depth look of the emotions of the characters to give them just a bit more rounder edges, but that's just a personal preference. The way every side character also had a part in the story and how they interacted with the main characters was also a clear insight in their motivation. And as always the ending was open enough to allow even more of this duo, which I hope we'll get soon.
