I’m not actually sure how I feel about this book. I didn’t love it, didn’t dislike it. It was a slow burn. And I think it’s highly character driven while we learn more about all of the characters. It jumps around in time with no warning, which I can see how that could be confusing for some. You go from rooting for the characters to wanting to yell at them to stop being so dumb. It’s a good tale of friendship and how it changes over the years. I’m giving the book 4 stars. But I have a hunch I’ll be thinking about this one a lot and will probably raise my rating.
