Patti LuPone: A Memoir by Patti LuPone

3.0

3 stars. Love me some Patti LuPone, diva attitude and all. She’s insanely talented and she takes no shit from anyone. She’s got some pretty infamous stories attached to her and she covers a few of them here and she names names which I love. She brings the energy and the drama. The only thing that hindered this book for me is that it’s poorly written and the structure of it is all over the place. It needed a better ghost writer. I’m a Musical Theater nerd so this book was extremely interesting to me. It’s juicy in that LuPone has no issue calling out everyone who has wronged her over the years. I was thoroughly entertained.
