Nico has my whole heart. I have never felt so seen in a book before. It reads a little younger than the heroes of olympus series, (but it is written for kids so I understand).
I do feel as though this book is gaslighting Nico though. I don't like that they are trying to change the viewpoint on how people treated Nico when he was younger, when it was literally written in the books.
MAJOR SPOILER AHEADalso why did they nerf tartarous? It almost drove Nico insane last time, and the most powerful demigod alive barely survived. I'm not sure why it was portrayed so differentlythis rime, but i feel like it takes away from the past books.
