Cat vs. devil/demon stories are well trod ground but generally with an emphasis on the mystery of cats. In direct opposition Carroll give us a front row view of the antics of Jeoffry the cat companion of Christopher Smart & it's an absolute treat! I especially love the narration, heartily recommended for fans of cats & short stories!
