What Happened to Nina? by Dervla McTiernan

4.0

This is such a great novel and definitely leaves the reader feeling uncomfortable. It is such a realistic representation of many intimate partner homicides and I think for that reason, McTiernan focused little on the actual crime itself and more of the aftermath. I really liked this idea and the shifting perspectives in this book expertly highlighted the effects on the victim and perpetrators family and friends, as well as both traditional and social media’s response to these types of offences. A great read for lovers of crime fiction that closely resembles real life cases!
