Strange Weather in Tokyo by Hiromi Kawakami

4.0

I have recently started reading Japanese books and this was such a wonderful read. The main character Tsukiko and Sensei are so different, unique and full of their own quirks. Dream sequences , magic realism is something I guess is found in Japanese books and I am slowly starting to understand it.
The story is not something very unique but the way it is written and the way the story forwards is what I loved. There is traveling, eating, drinking, complicated situations, heartwarming conversations, heartbreaking moments... Ahhh quite a nice read ❤️
