The Alice Network by Kate Quinn

5.0

I loved this book so much, I hated to press pause (and for it to end)! I constantly wanted to know what was going to happen next. It has so much depth and detail for the characters and the period. I love how multidimensional everyone is and how well two stories spanning both World Wars were woven together. I'd rate this 4.5 instead of 5 because Charlie's obsession with Rose got a little weird and annoying at points, and
Spoiler because of the unbelievable way Rose and Finn found out what happened to Rose. They just happened to come across the single woman left behind where Rose was killed and who happened to be with her when she was shot? That was a hole (no pun intended) in what I think was otherwise a really strong plot.
