In my opinion this is a light dark romance. It definitely has some triggers but it's so witty and funny. I loved the banter between the FMC and the MMC and the way their relationship develops. The storyline pulled me in and kept me engaged there was no dull moment. There is a good amount of spice without taking away from the plot. What made me love Josh w th out a doubt was the way he cared for Ali and her cat. Definitely check the trigger warnings, but if you're looking for a light dark romance, that has lovable characters and a storyline that keeps you needing to know what happens, this is your book!  If you are into audio books you should definitely check it out, both narrators are amazing.
