I don't generally enjoy series where the main characters are different in every book. I get pretty attached to characters and want to see more of them, not side characters. However, I was not aware that this book was the 5th in a series before I read. Which I guess worked in its favor, as I loved this story. It starts off a little bit slow, setting the stage for the romance that is going to develop.
The story starts with FBI agent Sadie going undercover at an accounting firm to find out who's been falsifying data. Only, she didn't expect to fall for their main suspect. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and follow along on their journey. It was also great to see the woman get to be the badges for once.
