Hold Still: A Memoir with Photographs by Sally Mann

dark emotional informative lighthearted reflective medium-paced

3.75

A bit slow near the end with Mann’s often verbose writing style, but endlessly interesting and informative. So much depth and time is shown mostly into Sally Mann’s family history that it’s more so a memoir of family than a singular memoir, of that makes sense.

Still really well written and a very interesting and different kind of memoir. Definitely one of the best I’ve yet to read.
