I tried to give this book a chance, but I couldn’t make it to the end. The plot felt shallow, and the characters lacked depth, making it difficult to stay engaged. The writing came across as cheesy and at times, felt like it was dumbing down the reader. It’s the literary equivalent of reality TV compared to quality cinema. I don’t understand the hype surrounding these books, and unfortunately, this one just didn’t do it for me.
