Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

I tried to finish this twice. Not sure exactly but maybe because it is convoluted. There are 3 simultaneous stories with connected themes but leaves the reader moving from one to another and can be difficult to stay focused...maybe that wasn't for me.
