House on Fire by Bonnie Kistler

2.0

House on Fire started off as an interesting story. However, it was so hard to keep up with all the additional side stories. The whole plot line with the sheikha? Then the storyline with the secret agent and kidnappers? It was all too much. It felt like I was reading a Jason Bourne story, not a story about a family in turmoil. I ended up skimming a lot at the end because I was uninterested and just wanted it to be over with.
