The Christmas List by Chrissie Manby

3.0

Not the typical Christmas read but a nice enough one.
3,5 Stars

Milly met Duncan on Christmas. One year later she expects a proposal and a Christmas Wedding but instead he tells her how he's been thinking how they'd need some space.

12 years after her last letter to Santa, her nephews make her write a new one. While secretly wishing for Duncan to come back to her, she wishes for roses, chocolate and shoe, not expecting anything but somehow she gets it all. And that makes her believe she could make her own luck happen...

The festive mood is there, it's mostly enjoyable and chick-litty with an unusual turn. It reminds of traditions but I'm not sure I liked the silliness of the cosmic-ordering-plot.
Not bad at this time of the year and well worth a read but nothing you can't miss. And I don't expect it to stay on my mind for long.
