This didn't ramp up (in my opinion) until about 200 pages in. The main character felt a little typical, and I wished I had felt more connected. I have some unanswered questions about how his brother felt about the events in this book. The ending was great and very tense. I wish the beginning two-thirds had felt that way as well!
