CryoBurn, by Lois McMaster Bujold

3.5

On the surface, this is just another formulaic Miles Vorkosigan story and something of a lackluster one at that. The series is clearly winding down with this entry and doesn’t have much more ground to cover. As usual though, the theming under the surface is on point, and is a poignant reflection on mortality and living in the present. I’m never sad to be in this world and I’m still glad for the read.
