Okay so this was my most anticipated book of the year even though I only read the first book in January. But OMG! IT WAS SO GOOD!

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy criminal minds, it has very similar vibes but a lot more in depth in regards to the workings of the behavioral analysis unit and just investigations in general

Here are my in depth thoughts as I have many so ⚠️spoilers ahead!
1. I love Emma and Travis, they are both so distinct in character but also work so well together. Their characters are just so well thought out and are very relatable in so many different ways. Also them together are just so cute, they are so supportive of each other

2.Screw you Simon! Don’t get me wrong I actually really enjoyed Simon in the first book but his actions and dialogue in the book made me hate him. The thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was finding out he had seen videos of Emma when she was with Huxton but he never told her so for like two whole books he was bantering with Emma like they had no real connection but he actually already knew everything about her

3. Going back to the videos of Emma… I had to stop reading the book as I began feeling physically ill! As in sick to the stomach about the thought of someone having to go through that. I grew up watching/ listening to true crime and horror but this for some reason really impacted me…
