These Nezha narrated shorts placed in key moments between Rin & Nezha are kind of heartwarming and heartbreaking simultaneously. We know she’s feeling so much for him. We know what he feels obligated by family and greater politics to do to her. I kind of wish each of these could have been interspersed throughout where they happen in the novels

We basically get snippets of what Nezha was thinking in key moments throughout the books. It’s easy to paint him as a traitorous friend, son of an over ambitious Father who wants to rule the country. However, this short 15 page piece shows he was torn. I’m glad I read this
