Griffin and Sabine by Nick Bantock

4.0

Super interesting book! The story itself was quite weird and unsettling, but the stunning illustrations and overall theme of dreams vs reality, strange beginnings, and human behavior truly make up for it. This book, in every page, is a piece of fucking art; from each postcard we get a glimpse of the characters’ identities and the unfolding of the story(in other words they play a huge part in the story and are suggestive of future events). I’m most definitely buying this book physically when I get the chance/my own apartment. (Actually a 3.5 but Goodreads doesn’t allow that rip)
