Dracula by Bram Stoker
4.0
The Papa of all vampire lore! I'm sorry, I've never heard of this, 'Twilight', you speak of.
This is my kind of vampire read, nothing glittering or teeny bopper-ish at all!
*Continuance may cause spoiling.*
Though I must say, I felt like the purpose of killing Dracula should have been more worldly than personal. It was almost as if they pretty much wanted to kill Dracula solely for the sake of Mina!
I did dislike how quickly the affection for Lucy was completely discarded in favor of Mina once she passed. It was like she died and was almost completely forgotten-and Mina took her for the center of all the gentlemen's affection. Which I also questioned: Why were all of them so enthralled by either women? I just didn't get that...
All in all, I loved it! Can't beat a delicious Horror/Fantasy classic!
