Complex by Kortney Keisel

5.0

Let’s just start this review by saying that Complex is definitely a contender for one of my top reads for the year! I loved the previous book, Compared, and the novella, Commit—and Complex did not disappoint! I don’t think I’ve read many books where the girl is the one who lies, and the whole storyline played out so well. It felt like a realistic situation and I loved both Tessa and Luke!

There is just so much to love:
-Witty banter
-Forced proximity
-Opposites attract
-Marvel references
-Tessa’s distracted thoughts
-BFF bracelets
-Jimmy Choo shoe & concrete incident
-Family group texts
-Shower incident
-Luke’s relationship with his mom & sisters
-The entire fishing situation
-Fake Zoom call
-G.I. Joe Poldark
