Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Volume 3 - The Fountains of Forever by Arianna Florean, Nick Abadzis, Elena Casagrande

4.0

Well that was interesting.
Very much a tenth doctor tale from RTD's era, full of techy jargon and characters that come good in the end. The plot is full on; there's a lot to explain and it's done very beautifully. The panels are stunning to look at, this is a big universe with big ideas.
I liked the companion, Gabby; a bit like Martha and Sarah Jane, someone who seems exactly as she is, although with a little bit more that I'm sure is explained either in her introduction or later on. The comic also kept with the RTD tradition of showing how those left behind cope with a friend travelling with the Doctor. Cindy has a pretty realistic attitude towards what Gabby is asking her to understand.
This tale is volume 3, so I'm missing some of the story, and it's not complete by a long shot, it's only a chapter in the book, but it's an entertaining ride and I'm interested to see where this tale goes.
