An Irish retelling of Beauty and the Beast that I neither loved nor hated, but will say, it is far too long for my taste and retellings are probably not a favorite of mine.
Caitrin runs from an abusive aunt and ends up at Whistling Tor a fortress of secrets and strange inhabitants. She retains a position in the household and then the book drags, a lot.
Not for me-but worth 3 stars as I was able to finish it.
