Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch

4.0

I haven't had this much fun with urban fantasy since Larry Correia's Grimnoir Chronicles.
It's deliciously steeped in contemporary English/London culture and historical references. Although at times the plot gets so bizarre it makes me think more Tom Sharpe than Bram Stoker.

Highly recommend "reading" this in audiobook form. Kobna Holdbrook-Smith is the perfect narrator - absolutely in character.
