Gone by Midnight by Candice Fox

5.0

Candace Fox just keeps getting better and better. I love reading about and trying to guess what Amanda may do or say next and seeing her uncanny powers of observation. And, as we are given more and more glimpses into Ted and his thoughts and hopes and dreams he becomes even more likable. The subject of this book is a hard one - an 8 year old little boy is missing and as the story unfolds it is obvious that bad things have happened. The sadness of knowing that things are probably not going to end well for Richie are off set by the pure joy that Ted is experiencing having his little girl, Lily, spending the week with him. This one really surprised me and now I can't wait for Crimson Lake #4 I listened to the audio version of this from Libro.fm..
