A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

5.0

Fredrik Backman has become with this book one of my favorite authors of all time. Today I'd say he's my favorite. His talent shows in a very touching way with his ability to portray the character's emotions and convictions through their interactions and thoughts. It's hard to explain because many authors use the same artifice, but Backman has a way to turn a character extremely realistic, completely out of the paper, and many times I forgot I was reading fiction. It got me very profoundly, and I felt so many intense, intense, and just beautiful emotions. Ultimately, after reading both books from him, I genuinely felt like I've "unlocked" a different level of appreciation of my life. Simply incredible and absolutely amazing. I envy anyone reading this for the first time. I'm now off to exploring all titles from him, but also, I don't want to "use up" all of these treasures at once. I'll do my best to space out my Backman's books!
