This book hit every mark for me. Sentient cities? Check. Diverse cast of characters? Check. Intense conflicts where there’s actually a grapple for it instead of one absolutely correct side? Check.
You can understand where every character is coming from and how it all fits together and the complete picture is wonderful.
But the best part was definitely the imagery. This book pulled you in and didn’t let you go until you got to the last page. Absolutely incredible and you could feel the love and care put into every page, sentence and character.
