I Heart Paris by Lindsey Kelk

4.0

So I couldn't wait to start reading this book in the series, as it is set in one of my absolute favourite cities: Paris, so obviously one of the things I really loved about it was all the fabulous descriptions of the city. I loved reading about the different shops, the food, and most importantly, the sights. The book has really made me want to go back to Paris.
This is the third book in the series, and by now we know Angela and her friends quite well. Summer is finally here again and Angela has exciting new opportunities with her job, and is given the chance to write an article for fashion magazine Belle, which is perfect timing as boyfriend Alex asks her to go to Paris to celebrate his birthday and watch him play at a festival. It was good in this book to see the relationship between Alex and Angela progress, although I still think Angela is quite stupid in some ways.
One thing I did miss in this book was the presence of Angela's American best friend Jenny, although we do still get to see one of her bitch fits. We do however get to see more of Alex's band mates, and their characters are developed more, as well as being introduced to Virginie, who works on the French edition of Belle.
The book had a good storyline and as ever, Angela's plans don't ever run smoothly. Lots of things ruin her trip, but most of all, Alex's ex girlfriend who has turned up out of the blue. It was interesting in this book to learn more about his past.

A good sequel to the previous two books; I am looking forward to reading I Heart Vegas.
