Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson

4.0

My girl Pip does it again- I seriously always think I have everything figured out and Holly Jackson simply tosses my detective skills out the window and says HA, jokes! The twists and turns throughout this series keeps you constantly second guessing everyone.

Something Good Girl Bad Blood does as a second in a series is breaks down the emotional ride Pip went on from the first case she solved and the baggage she still carries. I truly felt for Pip feeling the need to take charge of Jamie’s disappearance and all the emotional turmoil she felt taking it on.

For being YA, everything that happens with these amateur sleuths feels extremely realistic and believable. I’m very intrigued to see how this is all going to finalize in the third book.
