I’d been waiting to read this book when I was in a better place with my own mental health. However, I’ve been waiting for a few years now so just decided to pick it up anyway. I’m SO glad I did. I sped through this read while crying, laughing, and mentally planning my own marathon challenge. From today, I know I must stop waiting for the change to happen and instead be the change that happens. This book was the friendly and supportive kick up the backside I’ve needed for a long time.
