Very eerie collection of stories. I feel like horror graphic novels can sometimes lean too heavily on gore to get a reaction from readers, this really has very few bloody or otherwise frightening images, but the stories are wound so tightly that you get that shock value regardless.

In the story “The nesting place” The brother’s fiancée has been infested by worm-like creatures which move under her skin and come out from her mouth and eye sockets. This is described as well as illustrated. There are also several uncomfortable illustrations of mouths and teeth, both in this story and others
