An Infamous Betrayal by Lynn Messina

4.0

"I admire your ability to concoct a theory of guilt out of a ball of yarn and a misplaced kitchen spoon."

Another delightful installment. I continue to adore Bea and the duke. I hope the duke's grandmother makes more appearances too. However, I'm really starting to despise Vera and wish she'd wind up a murder victim.

**SPOILERS BELOW ARE HIDDEN but be aware!!**
Spoiler I have to admit to being somewhat disappointed at how fast the engagement came to be. We went from nothing to marriage in just a few chapters. Given the slow buildup thus far, I really expected more to their romance.
