Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation: Mo Dao Zu Shi (Novel) Vol. 1 by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu

5.0

Oh man, I definitely just assumed this was all translated already and I am so bummed that I'm going to have to wait to read all of this because I loved it way more than I was expecting to. Instead of rewatching the show (in pieces) for the bazillionth time, I decided/remembered: Hey, maybe you should read the novel finally! And good call, me, I loved every second of it (and understood it better than I ever have, um, thank you glossary and naming guide, where have you been all my life???) because it's all so familiar and basically all I want to do is watch the show again but also not because that's another fifty hours of my life and instead this was just a few hours but all the same serotonin so yay! I kept meaning to stop but then I'd get to the end of the chapter and go: Oh but they're just about to get to... and keep reading and so, yeah, devoured it in a day and have ordered Volume 2 now. I will have to be much more careful when I start that one since I now know 'stopping' is not exactly an option for me, haha.
