Night School by C.J. Daugherty

After reading the blurb, my expectations for Night School were low. It sounded cliché, troubled teen girl is sent to a mysterious boarding school and has instant connection with the hot loner guy.

But I was so wrong. Night School was nothing like that at all. The story has so much more goodness to it than the blurb portrays!

Allie is character who you really grow to love. I loved her dynamic with Carter. At the start their fights were authentic, they both stood their ground and by midway you really rooted for them. Rachel was my favourite of Allies friends.

The book did feel like an introduction and the mystery was quite confusing at points. The other fault is rather anticlimactic end. I expected a bit more, however, I most definitely will be reading the next one!
