I got to meet and hear Julie C. Day at a reading back in December, and picked up this book. Honestly? It's well-done, has a great little story, but for me, it was done and I just wanted to spend a lot more time in this universe.
I mean, outside of all the evil stuff. Just an amazing atmosphere, some stellar worldbuilding throughout. This shouldn't get overlooked at all.
