This series gets more tense and uncomfortable with every volume. As the stakes rise with every chapter, it's unsure, and nervewracking to wonder, what the limit (if there even is one) will be. Especially when this volume contains a graphic rape scene perpetrated by the initial victim of the MC's sexual harassment. It is hard to see how much further this can go considering this is only volume 5 of 11. Just as each character is reaching their own point of no return within the story, this certainly is the volume to make the reader question if it is their own to and to drop the series.
The characters are not loveable, but the series can get you invested and hook you if you're willing to commit to this read.
